Not convinced this works

A few months ago I bought the Lee Stafford hair growth treatment after reading some good reviews and desperately wanting my hair to grow. At nearly £7  I was a bit put off as I thought this was a bit steep but thought I'd give it a whirl. I've heard a lot of people say the smell put them off but I thought it was actually quite nice. It's really thick and leaves hair feeling soft but not slippy like some intense conditioners can. You're supposed to use an egg sized amount every day but I wanted it to last so used half the amount every other day as I couldn't see this having much effect. After using it for a few months I don't think its had much affect on the speed my hair hair has grown but it has improved the condition. Not sure I would buy it again as there are many other good intensive conditioners out there for a fraction of the price.

  1. Hmm I'd heard good things about it and though I was sceptical I had wanted to try it...you might have just put me off though!

What is the smell like? And if it doesn't work, it's really annoying that they can make the claims with the name of the product.

  2. The smell is pretty hard to describe. Its different to usual conditioners but still smells quite nice.

While I was using it people did comment that my hair had grown quick but I think that was only because I was growing it from a pixie crop so was much more noticeable. I really don't think it made it grow any faster at all and simply strengthens hair so could help. Sorry to have put you off buying it! x
