Galliano sacked

Libya may be having a revolution but at fashion house Dior, they too are going through some ground breaking changes. John Galliano was sacked today as design director from the fashion giant following racist and anti-semetic comments he made which were caught on film.

After seeing the video I feel they had no choice as these kind of remarks cannot be swept under the carpet no matter who you are. Yes he is an amazing designer and I can't imagine Dior without his creative influence but that does not excuse anyone from making such horrible comments. Natalie Portman, who herself is Jewish and the face of Dior's new perfume and has said, "I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano's comments that surfaced today. In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr Galliano in any way."

Sorry John, you are amazing but totally out of order this time.
